Refatting Agent (PO65 Type) is a conditioning additive used in cleansing formulations to improve mildness, enhance skin feel, and reduce the drying effect of surfactants.

It is commonly incorporated into body washes, facial cleansers, and shampoos where a more balanced, comfortable cleanse is desired. Rather than altering the primary cleansing system, it works alongside surfactants to refine the overall sensory experience.

This material performs the same functional role as PO65-type refatting agents used in modern surfactant systems. In formulation, it helps reduce perceived harshness while supporting a softer, more conditioned finish on the skin and hair.
