Behaviour in formulations

Coco-glucoside provides a mild, soft cleansing feel with light foam. It contributes to a less harsh, more comfortable skin feel compared to stronger surfactants.

Formulation considerations

PROCESSING

Add to the water or surfactant phase with gentle mixing until uniform. Avoid excessive aeration.

 

COMPATIBILITY

Compatible with most surfactants, including amphoteric and non-ionic systems. Works well in mild cleanser formulations and alongside humectants and conditioning additives.

pH
Supplied at high pH (~11–12). Final formulation pH must be adjusted.
