Troubleshooting

Poor incorporation or uneven appearance
Ensure Lamesoft® PO65 is incorporated uniformly with adequate mixing before assessing the finished system.

Unexpected viscosity change
Assess viscosity after full incorporation into the complete surfactant system. Lamesoft® PO65 itself is a viscous material (2,500–6,000 mPa·s at 20°C) and is documented to interact functionally with surfactant systems.

Insufficient post-cleansing effect
Evaluate performance within the manufacturer’s 1–5% recommended range, adjusting according to the surfactant system and desired refatting effect.

Finished-system instability
Don’t assume increasing Lamesoft® PO65 alone will solve the problem. Review the complete surfactant system, ingredient compatibility, pH and viscosity structure.
